The Aspire 402CX is a universal wireless data modem. It can be activated on a cellular wireless network within range of the modem, including Rogers, Sprint, AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile, Bell Mobility, and Cingular.

With the Aspire 402CX, there is no requirement to work through a prearranged ISP (internet service provider). Monthly cellular access fees can be negotiated by the user. Usage may be included as part of corporate wireless contracts. Usage is based of data traffic and not air time.

Data is presented to the Aspire 402CX through the RS232 / RS485 / RS422 port built into the modem, or can be directly ported into a high resolution Datalogger. This enables the direct connection of field instrumentation with added benefit of time and date stamping of events for data acquisition and timed uploading to the web or business server.
